Fun Day a Huge Success

Seghill RFC held a palyers and family fun day at Welfare Park on Saturday.
With a barbeque for all, and a bouncy castle to keep the little ones happy, agreat day was had by all. Even the sun shone!
Highlight of the day was a rugby match between the Over 35's and the Under 35's.
The younger players seemed to think they would have an easy victory, but were soon made to think again.
Although the U35's scored an early try, the older players dominated the scrum and set plays, forcing the youngsters to defend.
Both teams rattled in the tries, and victory went to the Under 35's, but by a norrow margin of 2 points.
