Exeter Chiefs have signed hooker Neil Clark for the 2008/09 season.
Clark, currently at Launceston, has played for Exeter before as well as the Guinness Premiership side Bristol.
The London-born 27-year-old will replace Simon Jenkins, who has signed to Doncaster Knights for next season.
Clark made a total of 79 appearances for Chiefs between September 1999 and April 2002; beginning and ending his previous tenure with the club with games against Orrell. He scored two tries during that time. He played in six Premiership games for Bristol in 2005/06 season.
Director of rugby Pete Drewett said: “We are really pleased to attract Neil back to the club. He will have learned a massive amount from his time in the Premiership and he will bring that experience with him to us next season.”
