Dorset & Wilts won their County Championship Shield Semi-Final game against Oxfordshire at Swanage & Wareham RFC on Saturday by 38 points to 10.

Once again they played outstanding rugby as a team with centre Scott Chislett scoring a hat trick. The players were from Bournemouth, Oakmeadians, Salisbury, Sherborne, Swindon and Wimborne Clubs.

Dorset & Wilts will now play Leicestershire in the County Championship Final at Twickenham next Sunday May 30th. The game kicks off at 1200 as a curtain raiser before England play the Barbarians.

Although Dorset & Wilts U21 played in a final at Twickenham some 13 years ago this is the very first time in our history as a Constituent Body of the Rugby Football Union that our Senior XV has played at Twickenham.

Many congratulations to all the players in the squad and to Team Manager, Hamish Morton, Head Coach, Simon Culley, Forwards Coach, Clive Cashell, Assistant Coach, Don Parsons and Physio, Ian Longdon.
