Deepings U9 travelled away in a local derby with Bourne.
Deepings U9 started the game with strong bullocking runs by Connor Barnes and Aaron Woodcock, pushing deep into Bourne’s defence. A ruck from 10m out allowed Deepings scrum half Fraser Leiper over for the first try of the game.
The second half saw Bourne come back with strong defence resulting in 2 tries.
An outstanding tackle by Ross Chapman opened the gates opened the gates of Bourne defence allowing Deeping through to score again.
A late try in the dying minutes of the game gave Bourne a 3-2 victory.
