Weston under 7's travelled to Old Redcliffians for two games.

Old Reds U7s (3) v (6) Weston U7s

Weston started well with tries from Ewan, Sophie 2, and Dan, their was good tagging from Kai Reece, W, Joe and Sophie.

In the second half Dan scored twice and more tags came from Ewan, Reece W and Camron, the match ended with a 6-3 victory for Weston.

Old Reds U7s (3) v (8) Weston U7s

In the second game scored with tries from Dan 2 and Kai, Josh and Ewan took tags.

In the second half Weston added to their lead with tries from Dan, Joe, Sophie, Josh and Camron. Weston’s strong defence continued with tags from Reece W, Dan, Josh and Joe.

Weston won the game 8-3.

Weston under 7's travelled to Nailsea for two matches.

Nailsea U7’s (7) v (4) Weston U7’s

Weston started the first game with a try from Jack B, Ewan, Dan and Joe took tags. Joe scored 2 tries in the first half. In the second half Weston began tagging well with Josh, Joe, Reece W, Kai and Dan all taking tags, however they only managed to score one more try from Dan and lost the game 7-4.

Nailsea U7’s (5) v (5) Weston U7’s

In the second game both sides fielded younger teams. Weston again started by scoring first with a good try from Sophie. Camron scored Weston’s second. Oliver, Joe and Camron took tags. Sophie scored twice more in the second half as well as taking more tags. Reece C made a good run but was stopped just short by Nailsea. Nathan, Jack and Joe took further tags and the game ended with a 5-5 draw.

Weston under 10's made the journey to Nailsea to play two games.

Nailsea U10s (10) v (10) Weston U10s

Weston's first game against Nailsea proved to be an entertaining and well matched game. Ben Long, Liam Hynes and Dan Smith made some good breaks and were unlucky not to score. Tom Hale, James Peel and Joel Scanlon made a good effort in defence with their Tackling. Jacob did a great job forcing his way though the Nailsea pack to score his first try of the day. Nailsea pulled one back to make it all square at half time.

In the second half both sides came out with a strong determination to win, Ben Long went off for Alfie Hardy to make his stamp on the game. Weston pushed on forwards until Jacob made his second try. Nailsea hit back with a Try of their own after forcing their way through the Weston pack. Good support play by Adam Budd and Ben Bartlett.

The game ended with 10-10 Draw.

Nailsea U10s (40) v (10) Weston U10s

Weston's second match proved to be a much harder game with a well drilled Nailsea side. Rhys Langley and Sam Light made some great forward efforts but found their way blocked by the ever present Nailsea defence. Ben Long and Ashley Hardman made some great breaks with Jack Hockey, Ethan Hetherington and Alex Tyler in support but couldn't find a way through. The first half ended at 0-0.

In the Second half and with good work from the Weston pack Harry Flower made a great try. Nailsea came back with One of their own, In a dropped pass by Nailsea on their own Try line was quickly picked up by Alex Tyler and placed over the Nailsea line, Nailsea again took another try of their own, With the game coming to the end and the Weston pack tiring Nailsea make a last big effort and scored two more tries.

The Game ended Weston 10 Nailsea 40.
