Conditions were rough on Sunday as Cheltenham travelled to Supermarine for Marine's first game in 6 weeks. Marine piled on the pressure at the outset putting in some tough tackles and gaining ground into Cheltenham's 22. But a lapse in concentration on the Marine side led to Cheltenham gaining possession and through the use of quick hands, the Cheltenham backs used the overlap to score the first try of the game. This turned out to be the story for the entirety of the game; while Marine held most of the possession, Cheltenham were able to soak up the pressure and capitalise on Marine mistakes scoring 5 tries and one conversion. Credit is due to the well drilled Cheltenham side who used their possession effectively and at a high pace while also defending vigorously against Marine's continuous attempts at attack. Credit is also due to Marine who showed their worth in the scrummage as well as rucks and mauls, falling short of the try line on numerous occasions. Although the score may reflect a one sided game, both teams benefited from a tough, hard fought contest where sportsmanship shone through to the final minute.

Supermarine are due to play Oakmedian next on the 7th December (Away fixture)
