Jersey’s reward for beating Ealing on Saturday is a second top- of- the- table clash in as many weeks, with Rosslyn Park - the league’s new leaders - making a trip to the Channel
Islands this weekend. Ben Harvey’s men go into the match lying in second place after a tremendous 16-24 win over Ealing who have won only once in their last six outings. Jersey
scored tries through Dave McCormack and Guy Thompson as well as being awarded a penalty try – their sixth of the season. Rosslyn Park, meanwhile, scored 33 unanswered points
in the second half to thwart Cambridge at Priory Lane.
Fylde’s title challenge is still very much alive despite the concession of three yellow cards against Stourbridge at the Woodlands. The home side scored three of their five tries inside the
first 23 minutes to put the Saxons on the back foot and leave the result in no doubt thereafter.
At the foot of the table, the seasonal bow of England Sevens star Simon Hunt helped Birmingham & Solihull complete a league double over Wharfedale. Full- back Hunt scored twice
and created a third as the Bees collected their first league win since November 6th.
Elsewhere, Cinderford claimed their sixth win of the season at Blackheath thanks to a try from Rob Winchle two minutes from time. Sedgley Park also won the on the road – taking
maximum points at out- of- sorts Coventry, while there were home wins for Tynedale and Macclesfield In the two remaining fixtures.
