STOKE will continue their defence of the RFU Intermediate Cup with a home tie against Leicester-based Vipers in the third round on November 5.
Stoke, who beat Aylesford Bulls in last season’s final at Twickenham Stadium, began their title defence with a comfortable 47-7 win at Droitwich in the second round.
Peterborough Lions face expulsion from the Intermediate Cup for allegedly fielding an ineligible player in their second round win over Newark.
