RFU County Shield, semi final.
Dorset & Wilts v Essex @ Bournemouth Saturday 21.05 2011.
Kick Off 2.30 pm.
Only the Essex boys now stand between the Twin Counties and a second successive Twickenham final.
The current Shield holders, Dorset & Wilts. have already brushed aside the challenges of Berkshire and last weekend Oxfordshire.
Head coach Simon Culley said: We have only played Essex once since they emerged from the Eastern Counties set up a few years ago and we won that game, but Essex have produced some good players over the years so we are leaving nothing to chance and our approach will be no different to both our pool games. The changes we have made are Alan Manning back to start at prop with Sean Jones dropping back to the bench. Both Lewis Warner and Tom Baldwin return to the bench from unavailability last week. This is a huge match for us as we have come through a strong group and Semis are pressure games. Hopefully we can use the experience from last year to stay calm and play our game.
