Midlands quartet reach National Under 17 semis
MARKET Bosworth, Towcestrians, Ampthill and Burton will represent the Midlands in the semi-finals of the National Under 17 Competitions at Doncaster’s Castle Park ground on April 17.
They qualified as winners of their respective competitions at the Midlands Finals Day which was played at Broadstreet RFC on April 3.
Market Bosworth beat Paviors 18-0 in the Midlands final of the National Under 17 Cup, Towcestrians beat Walsall 22-17 in the National Under 17 Plate, Ampthill were 14-5 winners over Lichfield in the National Under 17 Bowl and Burton edged out Old Halesonians 5-3 in the National Under 17 Shield.
The Midlands qualifiers will now meet their counterparts from the North in the respective competitions in the national semi-finals.
