Supermarine Ladies 14 - Chipping Sodbury Ladies 8

Supermarine came away with a win yesterday as they hosted Chipping Sodbury on their 3rd last game of the season. Sodbury started well putting 3 points on the board in the first 3 minutes. Marine struck back with a try, that was put over the line by Theresa Bickell who supported her number 8 Claire Chard. This was converted by Natalie Williams leaving the score at half time 7-3.
Marine started well in the second half, another try scored by Theresa Bickell, again converted. This was countered by a breakaway try from the Sodbury full back starting from inside their half way line. The latter half of the second half was a forwards affair with numerous scrums, Suupermarine did well in the scrums but failed to capitalise. Supermarine play away to Chipping Sodbury on the 25th March.
