Disciplinary Advisory – Wallingford RFC competition appeal
A Rugby Football Union disciplinary panel will meet at the London Bloomsbury Holiday Inn hotel this evening (Thursday March 10) to consider a competition appeal by Wallingford RFC.
Wallingford were deducted five league points for fielding an ineligible player in the South West One East match against Reading Abbey on October 23, 2010.
An appeal by the club was rejected by the South West Competitions Disputes Committee and the club have appealed to the RFU.
The RFU disciplinary panel will comprise Jeremy Summers (Chairman), Philip Evans and Peter Budge.
