NOTTINGHAM RUGBY have been gearing up for a return to Championship action this Tuesday when the Rotherham Titans head to Meadow Lane for a crunch clash.
The Meadow Lane men have notched up five wins in the league over the last few weeks, even overcoming a momentum-reducing period of postponed games through December.
In a rearranged match from the end of November, Glenn Delaney will be unleashing the full power of his squad, including All Black Ali Williams who will be looking to leave the East Midlands with a bang after his month stay with the club.
Speaking ahead of the encounter (7.45pm kick off), the Director of Rugby said: “This is a test we’ve been looking forward to for a long time. The squad is looking strong and are determined to continue building toward the promotion playoffs.
“We know Roth will bring a very physical test but its an opportunity for us to show how we have developed over the last few months. The key thing for us is to continue to play hard fast attractive rugby”
The key encounter will be the first of a key run in match-ups, including Bedford away and Worcester at Meadow Lane on February 6 (5.45pm kick off).
The Warriors clash will see Nottingham host a “Help for Heroes” game which will include a host of spectacular events planned in aid of the charity for armed services personnel injured in Britain’s current conflicts.
Tickets for that game and the upcoming Rotherham clash are available by calling the club on 0115 9070070, priced as follows:
