Brive have today confirmed the arrival of Andy Goode from Leicester Tigers on a 2 year deal with a third year as an option. Goode who has 9 caps for England, but has been overtaken in the pecking order by several players, was bought out of his contract for £150,000 reportedly.
Brive's manager Laurent Seigne wanted to search for an 'experienced fly-half' and believes Goode is the man to help les Correzians reach the Heineken Cup. Not only have Brive signed Goode, they have signed no less than 15 others including Gerhard Vosloo, Alix Popham, Arnaud Mela, Pascal Idieder, Pablo Henn, Horacio Agulla and Lachlan McKay.
