Mike Tindall has been charged with drink driving. The Gloucester and England centre was stopped and arrested on the M4 on March 15th near Newbury. Tindall was driving the morning after having been at the races in Cheltenham with his girlfriend Zara Phillips. Tindall was on his way to Twickenham to commentate on a 6 Nations game and was driving alone in his Range Rover Sport at the time.
He admitted to being over the legal limit at Reading Magistrates Court and has been bailed until October 24th when he will be sentenced. Before then, Tindall will appear before Newbury Magistrates for a "special reasons" hearing. A medical expert will be called on to present the special circumstances of the case.
