Mick reaches Champions of the North finals

Back in April, Seghill Colts coach, Mick McLean was nominated for a Sunday Sun - Champions of the North Award in the Champion Teacher/Coach category.
There was a massive response to the awards, and this category recieved a huge number of nominations, but, the Sunday Sun has just been back in touch with Mick to let him know he has been chosen as one of the three finalists.
Mick, along with his guests, will attend the celebratory awards dinner at the Marriott Gosforth Park Hotel on July 10th. The winner of the Champion Teacher/Coach award will receive £500 and a specially commissioned trophy.
Mick is delighted to be among the finalists, as it means even greater publicity for Seghill RFC and its players.
