Supermarine travelled away today in their first league match of the season to face Bristol Ladies 2nds.
On a very uneven pitch Supermarine were slow to enter the game in the first half and allowed Bristol to run at them and play their game, resulting in them scoring from a break away try but towards the end of the half Supermarine bounced back with a excellent ran in try by Zoe Stewart. Supermarine came into the second half far more aggressive and in control, linking up well to enable debut player Corinne Hunter to score on the wing. With not long remaining poor defence from supermarine allowed an easy try for Bristol to take the score to 15-12, however Supoermarine fought back with a penalty from Claire Legg taking the final score to 15-15.
